How do I calculate open rate?
To calculate your open rate you will need two values.
- Unique Opens (the number of recipients who opened the email, counting each recipient only once, no matter how many times they opened it).
- Delivered Emails (the total number of emails that were successfully delivered (i.e. minus bounces).
To then calculate your open rate you will then need to take your total number of Unique Opens and divide them by the number of Delivered Emails, and then to turn the result into a percentage multiply the result by 100.
